Excursion to the National Institute of Hydrography

The last 3rd of May the students of 1st of ESO went to the National Institute of Hydrography. At 9:30 we took the bus to Cadiz and went to the Institute.  There we went over the different parts of the institute and we learned things like how nautical charts are made, or the different parts of the charts, or what happens if there is an update of the charts amongst other things. After that we went to a room where there were a lot of models of old boats and also the machines that were used to make nautical charts. At the end of the visit they gave us a nautical chart of the coast of Cadiz. After the visit we went to the beach were some students  relaxed, sunbathed or bought some ice-creams. Finally we went to a nearby park where we played and had fun. Afterwards we waited for the bus and then returned to the school, where we talked about what we liked the most.
